Award Announcement
Not a paid placement. Not a popularity contest. Real judges, real competition, and Za-Glue came out on top.
Let's get straight to it: Dougie Za-Glue took first place for Best Cannagar / Blunt in the Pre-Rolls category at the 2026 Northwest Leaf Bowl. Out of every blunt entered from every brand in the state, Za-Glue is the one that stood on top when the smoke cleared. That is not a small thing, and we are not going to act like it is.
There is trade recognition, and then there is the NW Leaf Bowl. This is the event. If you have been in the Washington cannabis scene for more than five minutes, you know the difference between an award you can buy your way into and one you have to actually earn, and the Leaf Bowl is firmly the second kind. No pay to play, no sponsor tier that buys you a trophy. Product goes in front of judges, judges taste and evaluate, best product wins. That is it.
And the judges are not some closed-door panel of executives either. This is by smokers, for smokers. The people deciding who takes home a Leaf Bowl are the same people who are going to be smoking your product on a Tuesday night regardless of what the packaging says. That is what makes a win here mean something a marketing claim never could. Nobody can buy their way onto that stage.
Za-Glue is one of Dougie's Hybrid strain-specific blunts, and it has been a standout in the lineup since day one. Loud, gassy, slightly sweet, exactly what the strain is supposed to be. We roll whole indoor flower with nothing blended in and nothing cut, so when Za-Glue hits a judge's table it is not competing on packaging or marketing copy, it is competing on what is actually inside the paper. Turns out that is a fight we win.
This is the real thing to put in front of your customers, not a claim, a judged result from the biggest stage in the state. Shelf talkers, budtender callouts, a reason to move Za-Glue to eye level instead of the unproven blunt next to it. If it is not in your case yet, now is the time.
If you have not smoked Za-Glue yet, here is your sign. This is the same blunt that just beat out the rest of the category at the one event in this state that actually means something. Ask your local retailer if they carry it. If they do not yet, tell them they should.
